Crafted from oak with beautiful tiger grain across the front, this late-19th century trunk features four raised panels flanked by wide, fluted panels, consistent with Dutch-style furniture. The top lifts on long, internal hinges to generous storage that is divided into two sections. A brace to hold the top open has been added to the trunk. Hand-forged, iron handles on the sides of the trunk and a decorative escutcheon accent the trunk.

Condition: Consistent with age and use. Braces have been added to the base to keep the bottom of the trunk in place.
